MORGOTH - "Pits Of Utumno" LP

Death metal act from Meschede, Germany, formed in 1985 under the name Cadaverous Smell, then Minas Morgul shortly afterward. The band settled on the name Morgoth in 1987 due to the members’ fascination with J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord Of The Rings”.
Originally self-released by the band as a cassette in 1988.
